Melanie is Doing Life

6 notes

Came in to work to find out that one of my coworkers (who went to Palm Springs and ran a half marathon) got engaged on Valentine’s Day.  This last year we’ve had a large number of people in our office getting engaged, married, having babies, making career changes.  While I was happy for her, sometimes its hard to watch other people’s exciting life changes while my life stays the same.  I know its my responsiblity to shake things up in my life, but not sure how to do this.

Do I give up my condo so I have more money for retirement and to live the life I want?

Do I continue on in this job that I’m good at but don’t feel passionate about?

I wish someone would tell me if the world as we know it was going to end in December.  If it was then I’d just cash out my Keogh and live the good life for the rest of the year. :)
