If I had things my way, we’d cancel Rose Festival. No more parades with floats or fun center or whatever they are calling it now. You see, it ALWAYS rains during Rose Festival. Always. People joke that summer doesn’t start until after Rose Festival is over. And what do the boneheads go and do? Open the fun center aka City Fair carnival thing 1 week earlier, so it starts on Friday. So of course its raining today. I think we should cancel Rose Festival and then the nice weather would start earlier.
But I will not be deterred by rain or Rose Festival activites or Mother Nature, and I will run my 3-4 miles, with hill repeats. Outside. Because there’s no way I’m doing that on a treadmill.
